

Scroll to the bottom of the file and add some messages of your own. Open up the file "dogzsplash" if you just have Dogz, "catzsplash" if you just have Catz, or "petzsplash" if you have both Dogz and Catz. Magic\Petz 3 (or 4)\Resource or C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\Studio Mythos\Petz 5\Resource. You can add in some of your own tips if you want. If you've noticed, there's a tip or a saying in the yellow loading bar. Whenever you start up Petz, a screen comes up while the game loads. For example, I put the song "Can't Get Enough of You Baby" in my music box and named it "LoveEnough" to make my pets fall in love. Note: If you want your song to make your pets fall in love, be sure to save it the Songz folder with the word "Love" in its name. When you're satisfied, save it in the Songz folder. Afterwards, you can modify the file in the Sound Recorder. The length of the recording should be about 50 seconds. Play the song, and hit the record button whenever you want to start recording. If you're using a CD, be sure to use the CD player that comes with Windows. Next, put your CD in or open up your other sound file. Open up the Sound Recorder by clicking Start, Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, Sound Recorder. If you have another sound file on your computer that's not in wav format, put the check mark in Mixer and exit.

If you want to take part of a song from a CD, put the check mark in Line-In and exit. It varies here depending on where you're getting your wavs from. Switch the radio button to Recording then click OK. Then click on Open Volume Controls in the menu that pops up. Right click on the speaker symbol in the system tray.
PETZ 5 MAKING YOUR PETZ FALL IN LOVE HOW TO
If you don't have wav.s, here's how to get some. Magic\Petz 3 (or 4)\Resource\Songz or C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\Studio Mythos\Petz 5\Resource\Songz and put them in there. If you already have some wavs on your computer that you want in the music box, go to the Songz folder. The Petz music box will only support wavs. Just keep working on it, and soon you'll have a Supreme Grand Champion!

Don't worry if your pets won't pose for you right away- it might take several photo sessions. You can also get some cats to pose by giving them a squirt with the love spray when their feet are aligned. They'll soon get the idea and pose for you. It may do tricks or whine or even do nothing at all. When the pet is in a position with its legs aligned, put it back down, and start taking pictures quickly by hitting the space bar. Pick a pet that you want to pose and take it to a room where there are no distractions. Sooner or later, they will be in love, although it may not happen right away. If they fall asleep or start fighting, bring out the love spray again and squirt them. You'll need to put the music box away if they get too into the music and start dancing. Bring out the music box and play a few love songs. Give them a few squirts with the love spray, and put some heart pillows on the ground. (You can't breed a dog with a cat, either.) Bring them to a room where there are no distractions I usually use the Toy Closet (Petz 3 or 4 only) or the Family Room. They will need to be adults of opposite genders, and they can't be spayed or neutered. Note: Bringing back a pet in this manner will cause a dialogue box to pop up the next time you start up Petz 3 or 4. Go back to the Petz folder and open the Adopted Petz folder and paste the pet in there. Find your pet in there, highlight it, and click cut. Go into the Petz 3, 4, or 5 folder and click on the Returned Petz folder. If this doesn't bring your pet back, let me know, so I can give you more help.īringing back a returned pet works the same way. This method can't bring all pets back, but it will work for quite a few.
